Do people go 'out on the pull' anymore?

They don't go out. If they do it's out at 10pm. In my day we hit Branigans for happy hour at 5pm, down 10 pints then make sure we were back in the local for last orders. This was in the year of our lord 1987- - - -
Hey!

Some of us still obey the laws of drink!

If you're not in the pub within 20 mins of finishing work on a Friday you're not to be trusted.

Not really. I still do but nowhere near as often as i did a few years ago before the emergence of Tinder etc. It's harder to pull on nights out now too. When girls go out now a lot of them spend most of the night in their groups on their phone documenting to the world how amazing their night was instead of enjoying themselves and chatting to others. I've found myself preferring to just go out and enjoy the night with my mates and not waste my time trying to pull. That way, i can have a top night then a few swipes later when i get home or the day after i've got myself more phone numbers than i would of got all night trying to pull.

If you'd just said "i can't be arsed" then you'd have more respect. Bloody excuses for not getting laid ya pussy ;-)

Not "pulled" a woman in a Bar/Nightclub for years in the UK, think I did it once when I was about 17?
So like 13yrs ago haha.
On nights out I prefer to go out and just enjoy the music, nightlife and so on.
In fact I've told a few women I'm gay whilst dancing so they've been more relaxed around me...
Makes it more enjoyable then as they try and convert you :D

My current partner I met in an Hospital lol.
Before then I've always just used Facebook, before that Myspace, Plenty of Fish and all the rest of 'em....
I don't consider myself a social outcast, I just find women in the UK when on nights out can be rather awkward, more concerned with doing their hair/nails in the toilets with their friends, getting drunk, and standing around like a painting on a wall - something to just admire.

Whereas abroad, during Travels all over the show I've found women more relaxed/laid back and open to having sex.
Might have something to do with our British reserved Victorian/Catholic routes?

Brit girls can be just as slaggy as say a Thai girl but they'd probably need a few ltrs of vodka, and sometimes a change of environment.... How can I put it?
Say the same girl on a night out with her girl friends would not wanna get with you, but if you met her at a music festival she'd jump straight into your tent.

Haha. It's less "can't be arsed" and more of a rapidly growing hatred towards society and all people in general, which is hugely reducing the already small pool of women i can pick from. I just can't stand these girls that stand there pouting, filming their entire night out and basically pretending to have a good night. If your phone is out of your pocket/bag for more than 10 minutes on a night out it's a crap night. I'm just waiting for the first club/bar that install charging stations in their place. It's coming, i guarantee it.

Fwiw I agree 100%. Went to a Metallica concert last year and came away with some broken ribs, sun burn and a sore back. All I could see in front of me (when I stopped moshing) was bellends holding their phone in the sky "capturing the moment" rather than living it first hand in the first place. Back on topic, I got laid that night too ;-)
