I think that the girls who turn up to the BM meets are treated with utmost respect and i hope enjoy the company they are in.

it's nice when you're not distracted by the gender of the poster and can just read threads and pay attention to the content instead of people making a song and dance about whose female, it doesn't matter.

This ^^^ I totally agree with. It amuses me when I get mistaken for a man............ or a woman even!! I like to confuse. ;-)

When I first came on BM I didn't let anyone know my gender (apart from the wonderful Ric of course) and it was great fun because I could read the responses to my posts with a smile especially when I was being insulted!!

For me, when I am reading posts I don't always look to see who has written it, only when it is particularly amusing/witty/insightful/clever or if I am going to respond to it do I read the writer's name.
