I wouldn't say weaknesses but being greedy and if we truely want to 'complete the squad'. I would say, we lack:
1. A deep lying creative midfielder, with vision who can control a game ala Cesc Fabregas or Xavi. Silva and Nasri play further forward in the Iniesta role and De Jong and Barry are defensive who can't really do anything creative.
2. An out and out winger, with pure speed who can beat a fullback/defender. Someone in the mould of Robben on the wing or Ronaldo when he used to play on the wing at United.
3. Centre back position is where there is not too much strength or quality in depth. If Kompany or Lescott where to get injured or even both at the same time well we might have problems.
As a say it's being greedy tbh with the squad we've got! But Real and Barca improve all the time so we've really got to keep up with the best on the Continent not just in England.

I don't think City need to get anyone new. Enough depth to cover any necessity. When Tevez goes, I'd rather see the 4th striker spot given to one of the youngsters, maybe even left open for someone like Guidetti next season.
Unless there is a rash f injuries. coupled with Yaya leaving for the Nations cup, I just don't see us getting anyone. We have a host of players not getting enough time. Nasri, Jimmy, De Jong, Clichy, Micah, Zaba, Dzeko, Savic, Kolo, AJ are all sharing time and barely getting enough. ANd we still have Tevez, Onuoha, Bridge (who are all ticketed to be shipped out, but still around) not to mention Hargreaves who is also on the mend and getting ready.
That is 14 by my count:
Right now the certainties seem to be Hart, Komps, Lescott, Barry, Yaya, Silva and Aguero. That leaves 4 spots open for big games. 2 of those spots are rotational for the Fullbacks, leaving really just 2 spots. One is shared by Dzeko/Balotelli and the last by Nasri, Jimmy, De Jong and AJ.
We would not have anywhere to fit anyone else. Bobby just said AJ is the only true winger on the squad, yet I doubt he is interested in adding another. But if he were to add a player, I'd vote for Shaqiri.
I think he is as talented as the Russian at Arsenal, with 2ice the hustle. Will fit right in at CT. But this will mean even fewer minutes for an already pouting AJ.

We should go all out for Messi or Ronaldo now. It's obvious we're near the top in Europe and we have the money to offer them exactly what they want. Maybe time to test Rooney's willpower again

I am not really optimistic about Savic and I hope he prove me wrong. & I think Nedum is better player than him.
