Do we have any weaknesses?? RE January window.

Replacement for Tevez (Rossi?)

Maybe an out and out winger for a tactical change of style (Cerci?)

Maybe a CB, if Lescott or Kompany are injured we need to fall back on Kolo, Savic or Ned. Definitely a CB if Kolo moves on as some quotes were hinting at.

Plus

De Rossi tapped up on a free for the summer - maybe if I say it enough it will come true :)

That's it, and I'm not even sure that any of those are real NEEDS, more like wants.

Whats the injury with Hargreaves? Was always going to be a bit of a gamble but suppose the club knew that when the deal was done. Also forgot about Yaya to the African nations good point!!

Just a bit of a thigh(? can't remember exactly what he said) niggle according to Platt.

As far as January signings go, possibly de Rossi.... that's really all I can see. I don't think a Tevez replacement will come during the next window.

This went on for years at the swamp with OH.

Again, hes not fit. Platt said he would have been playing again tomorrow night.

I think if he isnt playing 90 mins by Jan then we need another DM and a 4th choice striker to replace 'that' prick.

I would love to see Hummels in this Team.

Even tho i agree, there s no need.

Is he strong on the air like Lescott ?
I know his technical ability is better but I am not sure about his defending.

In addition to Hummels, I don`t mind Eden Hazard or Marko Marin.

The problem in January is that we are highly unlikely to sign anyone who will be anything more than a squad player.

It's cover we need at the moment for when one of our "first team" players get suspended/injured.

Although the money we can offer is great, will we really be able to attract the standard of player that we need to cover Silva for example without the guarantee of first team football.

Hazard would be the best winger choice but he is going to be obscenely expensive, I'm not sure we want to pay £30m for a possible impact player. Cerci could still be the best cheapish option.

He is a bargain at 30. Will be much higher in two years. Get him while we can. Sell AJ to the highest bidder on Jan 31. Probably a net spend of 10 million. If you assume that we also will sell Tevez we can leave January with a far stronger team and cash in hand.

ACB eventually I would like Hummels, he's of high quality and I do think due to Tevez going in Jan. I think Manicini would like another striker. Rumours a few weeks ago that Van Persie won't renew his contact, has put his house on the market and commented about the contract situation that he wants "to concentrate on his football" (that old chestnut). I would also like and I think Mancini likes him, Cavani, looks a real talent.

cavani is and will be obscenely expensive and will never be sold by de laurentiis and rvp is great but again not needed, we'd be better off on looking to bring gudetti along after his stay in holland(4 goals in 5 matches)

we already have 3 great strikers who are fighting for space, rvp is unneeded and won't come cheap and is nearing the backside of his career

we need 4 th choice striker.may be kevin doyle from wolves.i like junior hoilette too.
kolo is expected out so.abidal and chuvu has been in frame recently.
gary cahill may be the option if kolo toure leaves may be to psg.
