Do we really need anyone else ???

^^This^^ For both goals Lescott was the nearest player to the scorer which is his job. Both Bolton goals were class and no way IMHO can Lescott be blamed for any of them..........

I wouldn't "blame" him for anything today, but I'm just saying he could have done a better job at both goals, that's all. He could have had a better perception of where Klasnic was, and he could have either got to the ball before Davies or prevented him from making the jump.

I've been all for Lescott since after Christmas this year and continue to back him up. But still I think he could have done better today.

the deadwood have absolutely nothing to do with Mancini completing his squad - Tevez is the barrier to that.
Not according to Mancini and I quote:

'I did not buy these players and I can only answer for the players that I buy. I tried with these players two years ago but they are not part of my plans now. I am sorry about this because I respect these players, but it is better that I am clear with them.'

Mancini has already stated that Carlos Tevez will be allowed to leave if a club meets our asking price, but as it stands no club has so Mancini is happy for him to remain a Manchester City player until his situation is resolved. But as for the likes of Bellamy, Adebayor, Bridge, RSC, SWP, Onuoha etc Mancini has categorically stated that they are not in his plans, will not be included in his Premier League or Champions League squads and need to find new clubs.

It is more crucial to the clubs finances that the deadwood are cleared and off the wage bill than Carlos Tevez........
"But as for the likes of Bellamy, Adebayor, Bridge, RSC, SWP, Onuoha etc Mancini has categorically stated that they are not in his plans, will not be included in his Premier League or Champions League squads and need to find new clubs." you quoted Mancini's own words - you can't have it any clearer. If Nasri comes squad arithmetic means Tevez must leave if anyone else is to be signed.
I don't quite get how you arrive at that conclusion. Mancini is more concerned about moving the deadwood who are greater in number and cost more in wages than Tevez alone, what you've just said doesn't make any sense unless I'm missing something?

Ask yourself what would happen if Silva got injured (god forbid)

This times a billion. I think we would be reasonably solid if we lost any other single player; when we lose Silva, though, we lose our mojo. Cover for Dave definitely needed, and another CB would be handy too.

Lescott is not a bad defender! He is good but however against quality opposition in the champions league, hes gonna have it really really tough..

If you have to think for more that 10 secs the answer is YES
For this reason and this reson alone. I want a player like Nasri around. Even though I think Aguero or Tevez can deputize at this job, Nasri can keep it up if SIlva goes down or drops form from minor nicks.

Personally I would have preferred Mata or Modric, but Nasri will do :)

Agreed Williams is involved with Cook & Marwood in clearing out the deadwood, but from what I can see, they seem to be spending more time hindering Mancini than they are in getting rid of the unwanted playing staff....

Agreed...some people on here should lay off dissing Tevez before he has even played a proper game...as long as he is still part of the team, I welcome him...I for one are hoping at least 20 goals each from Aguero, Dzeko and Tevez with another 15 from Silva this season (well I can hope, can't I)...

He had a poor day today... should have prevented both Bolton goals.

Both goals for Bolton were class

What you failed to mention is every time Bolton pumped it into our box 90% of the time Lescott was on the end of it

Didn't have his best game but was still decent

I thought Richards should have got tighter and stopped Rigby's cross
