If nobody goes, do we really need anybody else to come in?

Should we not give some of the younger players a chance. We have a good set of young players like Suarez, Roman, Gudetti, Rekik and Rusnak.

Every team needs new members, even if it's just one or two new faces, to freshen up the squad and have some new players around.

Obviously, they must be of the right quality to improve / maintain the strength of said squad.

We should give young players a chance but that said we need signings anyway or we will only be able to focus primarily on one competition and will suffer in other departments because Mancini doesn't trust some of the current squad players (3rd fewest players used in Premier League last season). We won the league because we'd been knocked out of 4 other competitions, theoretically we could have been in three competitions right until the end. Can you imagine Kolo, Savic, Johnson, and Kolarov in crunch Premier League games while we rested key players for Champions League and FA Cup semis/final, etc.? Would a team with those four in have beaten the scum or Newcastle? There isn't enough Mancini trusts beyond his core group of players, he even ended up playing mostly full strength teams in the Europa League.

Football (and life) is a constant shoring up. If we don't address the problems we have, new ones will start to develop and we'll get too many to be able to cope. We've got a very good squad, but I think we need a few players.

A CB to cover, Savic was a train wreck last year.

A creative midfielder, without Silva our midfield looks like a place where creativity went to die. We need someone else who can pick a pass. That's why we got Pizarro, unfortunately he's knocking on a lot.

A back up CB and a back up Yaya would be amazing, when we missed these our form suffered as a result.

It would be nice to get a winger, but not essential to our playstyle.

Firstly for 4 mill for Dempsey is worth it, nuff said.
Secondly Bale and Martinez would be great signings but we wont get them! Hope we do, but we wont.
Thirdly read what i said! If nobody leaves this season, do we really need anyone else.

There is no need to go through another season without a proper winger. It's becoming as bad as Fergiscum's bizarre failure to buy a midfielder. Except we have the money to correct it.

Take our foot off the gas and give our rivals comfort.

Good point, particularly on Vidic. We saw what happened when Kompany and YaYa were unavailable.

Cover at CB definitely needed, and some pace on the wing (Bale!).
