In the past couple of seasons too many away fans are mocking us for our lack of support.
The usual chants.... Sshhhhhhhhhhh.... 3-0...4-0... Up and you still don't sing.

As I sat there on Monday evening listening to the Swansea fans sing I thought to myself we are too quiet for a team who's 4-0 up???

The atmosphere was good on Monday, when they sang 3-0 up and you still don't sing, we had actually just finished 4 or 5 songs in a row.

Couldnt agree more, we all need to put extra effort in to make a better atmosphere, getting out sung at home newly promoted team or not is pretty poor in all honesty, the shit that was happening in 109 however didnt help.

They were out sung by 308 area thats what happened. Its always the same with away support as it is with Citys, you are all bunched together and tend to out sing the home support most of the time.

To be honest I thought the crowd were really good on Monday everyone joined in the singing around our area and the poznan came up from level 1 right to the back of L3 even my lad who normally stands in 110 area sat with me and said he thought it was really good up there on Monday.

was a great atmosphere on monday, they only sing cos they new they were gonna loose. have some confidence OP

-- Thu Aug 18, 2011 5:54 pm --

An' when yer 4-0 down singing is pretty much yer only option!

I think it was from the Swansea fans. They outsung us for the first twenty minutes when their side was on top and then apart from a few outbursts of Land of My Fathers (where they were unbelievably loud - as loud as Aris), they were pretty average for a contingent of their size for the rest of the match. They were also loud right at the very end but they were showing appreciation for their team's effort/work-rate in their first top flight match for a long long time so that's to be expected. Still I enjoyed their visit. Beats the shit out of most away contingents.

People don't sit down to sing unless they're Elton John at the Piano. Try singing City songs when you're sat. Not possible! The Swansea fans were noisy because they stood unchallenged throughout whilst we saw Blues ejected from 109 for trying to do the same thing.
