We would never catch the Rags either according to many on here but we did.
8 points behind in 2nd with 15 to play for including a head to head and no other distractions >>>> 12 points behind with 15 to play for in (possibly) 4th, no head to head and two huge champion's league games.

I think a finish like that and at least getting to the final of the CL would save the season.Given that the sane among us conceded the league already, I would rip arms off to see us nick 2nd. Let Leicester win it by a landslide and Spurs and Arsenal both collapse. Still have to win all of our games but that's not unheard of for us at the end of the season.

Just putting it out there that's all.....
Anyway, everyone back to moaning like fuck and writing us off and apologies for the optimism.
Most of us wrote it off weeks ago.
Because we have won a couple of games in the Prem v end of season teams we expect Arse Spurs & Leicester to all collapse & hand us the title whilst we win all 5 of our games, so all wake up thinking we are back in the race ?
Seriously ?
If we get 2nd it will be a nice surprise.

So; let me get this right. We're 12 points behind Leicester (slightly better GD, to be optimistic) with 5 games to go. Even if we win those 5 games (not a given), we need Leicester to lose a game. Which is possible, of course. More importantly, we ALSO need Spurs and Arsenal to blow up on the run in. We're under threat for that 4th spot from the Hammers. It's a no brainer. The league has gone. Let it go chippy. Don't torture yourself. Your blood pressure, continuing hair colour (or existence even!) and heart rate will thank you for it.
We need them to lose 4 of their last 5 games, Spurs to lose 2 and the Arse to lose one. Also if we go on that big a winning streak I can see Chelsea, the rags or Everton not trying their hardest against Leicester tbh.

If Arse & Spurs were to slip further behind Leicester, they could become vulnerable. Would take the edge off a dismal Prem season if we gave Arsenal a right shafting & finished above them.
