Do you guys feel we need any reinforcments at all in jan?

yes.........

1) I still think we need an out and out goalscorer a Shearer, Villa, Torres or Van Nistelrooy player who will score better than 1 in 2.
2) I think we need a dominating aerial presence at the back a big man who can dominate, with Shay not the biggest keeper or fastest off his line this is an important need.
3) I would sign another left back or left sided CB who can play comfortably at left back
4) the other weakness I think we have to be a championship winning side is a big, strong, tall and dominant midfielder to give us another option there.

So Villa, Chiellini, Hangeland, Toure - should cost us around 80m or so and would give us a squad that has everything covered and would give us two strong starting XI's, we could then vary our side to suit conditions even more than now as whereas I think we have a lot of variety up front and out wide I do think that at LB and in the mids we pretty much have to pick Ireland, Bridge, Barry and De Jong if fit and they don't have much competition.

If I was told I had to sign 5 a young, upcoming future playmaker who could be a bit part player would also be a good one.

I think we need 2! Chiellini, who can play CB/LB, that would be perfect! Then a midfielder similar to Barry and Johnson, the kind who's strong, can tackle but still break forward with the ball and player a killer pass!

I have to say that Ireland is looking a little vulnerable currently in that team! Unless he switches to an out and out attacking midfieler like he did last season I can see him spending a lot of time on the bench!

I`d sign scott parker as soon as possible, h`d be perfect for us.

Cordoba is Colombian. He would be a great addition though because he brings experience of playing at a very big club and winning titles and cups, and playing at the highest level - but is old enough that he won't mean we end up offloading one of our young defenders.

I think Chiellini as well would be ideal. I mean Lescott on his day is a top player, I don't agree with the Lescott detractors - but the fact is he's got a knee injury and we don't know how that's gonna impact a guy who's always struggled with his knees. Chiellini can play left-back and centre-back so gives us a options.

But when you talk about full-backs...the ultimate buy (and yeah, I'm pretty aware this won't happen) is we should just go and wack a £25m bid down for Sagna and see what happens. I've said this for months now that we should do this in january.

Maybe we need an extra striker too, I mean Ade will at the ACN, Roque Santa Cruz can hardly be 100% relied on to keep fit given his track record...some bad luck (an injury to Tevez, a suspension for Bellamy etc) and suddenly we're right up shit street...I'm gonna get slaughtered for this....but I seriously reckon Van Nistelrooy on six-month loan would be a good shout. *tin hat affixed* - but seriously we need someone quality who come in and do a job but only a for a while...and that's a tough job to fill.

Yea i thought: why sign players in january? myself but realistically we do need a well rounded defender, someone who is experienced top-flight Centreback, preferably italian (chiellini)

an Attacking Midfielder to take Stevie Irelands place, hes good but is he worldclass? for me he won't provide that worldclass consistency as seen from the likes of Ribery/Kaka/Gerrard and so on... Would Angel Di Maria be this player? who knows, ive not looked at him enough.

And finally a target man, like RSC/Adebayor but willing to fight for his place and keep lazybayor on his toes. Edin Dzeko looks quality, would like him at city.

really dont believe chiellini will be let go from juve , may be mancini take on cordoba for a little money.

LB i think he go for the one of dynamo kiev

and maybe he try to offer a lot of money only for Roma's De Rossi
