Football outside of the World Cup was barely available in the US prior to 2005 so as a kid I didn't know anything about any teams. Since I was an adult when I started following I remember all the reasons I hate the scum and Liverpool. A lot of the reasons are similar:
1. Privileged (aka asshole) fans
2. Asshole managers
3. Bias from officials
4. Having them jammed down our throats in America and American media pretending that no other teams existed
5. Ronaldo and Gerrard
6. Playing dirty and getting away with it because of #3
