Trevor Morley’s at long long last goal to put us up, meant the world to me at the time
Geoff Hammond's against Newcastle in 75. You must remember it Geoff lad.Didn't go to that one but lover Roger Palmer's equaliser a couple of years later.
He's hereTommy Booth
He’s here
He’s there
He’s every fuckin where
His goal against Southampton. Pure magic. Obviously there have been far more important goals but for shear skill that was brilliant.Nope, he’s right. 5-0 fa cup replay. Kinkladze ran half length pitch twisting and turning then buried it. 1996 or1997
No he's right it was 77 78 but we were runners up in 76 77, he just got his years mixed up.Ah, I thought you meant the ‘77 goal. The one you mean - on the half volley IIRC. And same match - Doyle nearly also scored from half way line?
2 goals for me from Goater Man City 3-1 Man Utd 9th November 2002

There that day along with thousands of other Blues. Francis was brilliant that day, it was a shame only played 28 matches he was a brilliant all round centre forward.Don’t think it’s been mentioned yet but I’ll always remember Trevor Francis on his debut at Stoke. Wonderful individual goal. It was clear we’d signed a superstar and were about to take on the league!
If you watch the video and the replay of Goat nicking the ball. When the original long misplaced pass is played, Goater is in an offside positionThe goat in the derby after dismantling Gary Neville.
I'm exactly the same. Fucking shite getting older.I can remember all that - it’s the recent stuff - I couldn’t tell you half the scores from this season.,
It is an impossible task, so many great goals and memorable moments.I don't have a favourite goal because to me that's an impossible ask. There's also a lot of recency bias. But that was one hell of a goal. I didn't even applaud it. I didn't shout or scream. I just sat and absorbed what I believed I'd just seen.
But — to counter recency bias: very, very fond of Franny Lee against West Brom, Charity Shield, 1968. The slickest free kick I think I've ever seen taken. Nobody remembers it because unimportant match in the scheme of things. (Also, a lot of people on here weren't born when it was scored).
