David White to beat Arsenal 1 nil at Main Road... great speedy run & tidy finish.
Sergio when he basically sored from the corner flag against Liverpool93.20 won’t ever be beaten for me. Monumental goal but the finish itself was fantastic, pure Aguero with a near post bullet!
They really aren’t.Ha - yes! They are brilliant IMO.
Nope. It broke to him in the box after deflecting off their defender.David White to beat Arsenal 1 nil at Main Road... great speedy run & tidy finish.
Rubbing his bellyPeter Barnes bewilders Pat Jennings.
Francis’ goal from Corrigan kick was against Wolves.,and wasn’t disallowed.Trevor Francis' dissallowed goal against, I can't remember.
Where Corrigan launched a goal kick and Trevor volleyed it in from 35+ yards.
You had to be there to see it unfortunately. What a goal that would have been.
Jim Melrose scored a cracker as well from a long way out back in the day.
Marmoushes goal against Bournemouth was outstanding as well.
I stand corrected. I'm still buzzing that we beat them at that time...I thought we'd finally arrived...alas. It was a tidy finish though...did well to stay on his feet and beat the best goalie of the time. Thanks though for making me youtube it...Happy Times the early nineties.Nope. It broke to him in the box after deflecting off their defender.
Against Spurs?Peter Barnes bewilders Pat Jennings.
NewcastleI think the most remarkable goal was the mid-air back-heel by Ferran Torres - I forget against who. It defied the laws of physics.
Another game in the cup where we took thousands and the locals could not be arsedJust thought of another. Zabaleta away at Stoke in the cup.
That season that game was the only one I missed at homeJim Melrose v Notts County in the 84/85 season. No cameras there but if you saw it you know why.
The grey matter isn't what it once was:-)Francis’ goal from Corrigan kick was against Wolves.,and wasn’t disallowed.
He had an absolute peach of a goal disallowed AGAINST Corrigan when we beat Brighton 4-0.
