Do you have a favourite ever goal?

Yaya Toure was a fantastic player, good passer of the ball, commanding presence, very difficult to knock off the ball, or stop ... and a good goalscorer too, whether from free kicks or otherwise ..... fantastic balance for a big guy too, you rarely ever saw him on the floor .... as much as City didn't appear to think so, he probably deserved that birthday cake!

He is probably the most complete midfielder - I used to love him passing teams to death for 70 mins and then being pushed forward to cause havoc

Back on topic, the West Ham kinkladze goal was always a favourite, putting Ferdinand on his arse

My favourite goal isn't a "Screamer" from thirty yards or because we won a trophy as a result. But it does represent a significant mile stone for us. Gabriel Jesus's goal against Soton in the dying moments of the game , to give us 100 points. I think I can say with confidence that will never be equled nevermind beaten

Yep, great move and header for that brilliant goal, and it really was the 'icing on the cake' that day!
I nearly missed that game, I was working that Saturday morning and went to the locked office front door to look through the letterbox because I'd heard someone messing about outside, I couldn't see anyone but the vestibule door had locked behind me, with no office staff in there at weekends it was 1½ hours before anyone found me, I only just got to the game in time.

Not the best but one of my favorite's was Haaland's second v West Ham, first game of the season, big pressure on a new striker, KDB exquisite ball through. Set the tone for our greatest ever season.

Blimey, that was the last thing you needed before a game eh .... am glad you eventually got 'freed' and made it to the match, you'd have kicked yourself had you missed it!

Samaras on his debut(?)

Inch perfect cross from someone (Barton?), he leaps like a majestic greek salmon and plants an absolute textbook header into the bottom corner.

As a hopeful teenager, I thought wow, this guy is going to be mint.

93.20 will be No. 1 till the day I die.

But Vinny vs. Leicester is up there. What a fucking strike.

Vinny's header against the rags is another one. When he barges Phil Jones out the way as he storms off to the corner to celebrate.

God I miss Vinny, what a difference he'd make right now.

I recall Agueros brilliant goal in the 2-1 win at the Ethiad, the way he took it was stunning, he reacted in a split second and smashed it into the roof of the net from a tight angle, he left the Liverpool keeper clutching at fresh air at the South Stand end of the ground, what a finish that was!! ..... sounds very much like one of the goals you're referring to there.

What a time in our City lives that was hey? Fabulous team.

He’ll be back soon enough!

There’s a few standouts for me…

KDB against Spurs in the “David 21” game, with the goal coming after Dele Alli had done a career-ending tackle on him.

Leroy Sané’s tap in at Arsenal after a sweeping, full field, full team move.

Yaya’s breakaways (Home vs Villa, Away vs Palace) and his SF goal vs Utd.

Sergio’s goal from the corner flag vs Liverpool at home.

Sergio’s run across the front of the Utd defence, with Phil Jones in hot pursuit, which resulted in the famous PJ mugging picture.

Peter Barnes vs Pat Jennings at the North Stand end, where he sat him down and chipped him.

THE Dave Watson header (I was in Row 10, Seat 1) behind the goal. I have never heard another header sound like that in my life.

Dennis Tueart’s overhead kick at Wembley in the League Cup Final

THE free kick from Elano! WOW!

And, Rodri, Istanbul, all the marbles. Epic!

But, nothing will ever top Sergio’s 93:20.
EVER!

For decades it was 'early cross, chance at the far post...'
But 'Aguerooooooo' still gives me goosebumps

Kinky against Southampton, SWP for the 4th against the rags, Kernaghan's lob for some reason, and many more also stick in the mind too.

Brilliant post especially that last sentence.
