Well, to be fair, that's how capitalism works. Billions live in poverty and suffering so that a few hundred can live well. Sure, we've all got Ipods and laptops and that, sadly, is enough to confuse and sedate the mass populace of under educated sufferers.

I've come to realise that the problem with people like you and I, Mat, is that we care too much. We don't want to see our brothers kicked in the face whilst we prosper, we want to share the wealth, we want to live how any God would want a man to live. Unfortunately we're surrounded by morons, creeps, perverts and people who, whilst sweet at heart, have been under educated to the point that they don't know any better.

Bang on... too many selfish wankers just want to look after their own little home, they don't see the bigger picture, cos they don't want to. It's too big and scary to care for the greater good. They'd rather focus on the tale of some 'bogus asylum-seeker getting a grand-a-week', to justify their own selfishness and small-mindedness.
