Do you like the transfer window?

I think it's fairer for all clubs now. In the old days a player would get injured and off to market went Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool and they generally stayed at the top. More clubs are able to compete with the succesfull clubs so it's a thumbs up for football.

Yes. It’s the idea that, at the end of it, you have a squad much better than you started with. Also, until they start to play for us, you can imagine every new player will be World Class and forget the standard of players we have lost!

The rumours are hilarious.

The drama is riveting.

And, absolutely the best bit is the plane tracking.

The KDB thread on here…omg. THE best thread I’ve read.

I was gutted when we didn’t get Wirtz, as I’ve wanted him for years, then I saw Cherki and thought he will absolutely do.

It’s a complete rollercoaster from the window opening until an hour after it shuts.

Once we have finished I like the drama surrounding other clubs and their stories. Who was it who drove to their touted new club only for the transfer to fall apart and have to drive back to their old club and apologise to the fans?

Deadline day can be brilliant though I miss the days when Stoke fans would be jumping all over some SKY reporter outside the stadium and cramming as many swear words into a sixty second update as they could.

United forgetting how a fax worked while trying to sell their keeper was also a highlight.

I forget the time when you could sign a player any time. This is much better. As soon as the window closes I miss it but if it was open all the time I’d be sick of it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, still do really.

Yes and no, for me. Sometimes it might be better to switch off. Not that this is possible.
I can't switch off, I tried, and got dragged back in, but my son does now, he stopped coming on here a couple of years ago, but now doesn't bother with twitter or any of it. Says its much better just waiting seeing who's confirmed then finding out about them, like the old days..
I might try again I managed to wean myself off all match day threads after a couple of attempts and that made games far more enjoyable, even games we aren't playing in.

Absolutely luv the way our club conducted themselves n went about getting over the line with these additions.

So on point, so meticulous ...so happy :-)
