Do you miss Mancini's slow build up style ?

I thought I was stuck in some parallel universe then! Too fast ? Christ.

It pisses me off how slow we actually are. The amount of times a break is on but we just ponder out and let the opposition get back does my head in.

Mancinis football was positively break neck compared to pelligrinis

Pellegrini wants the team to play with fast tempo. What the team are doing on the pitch is irrelevant, at this moment in time the team is doing fuck all on the pitch, hence the results we're getting.

I'm amazed some of you think that slow football is the aim here, the man wants super charged lighting quick football.

This is pure fact and anyone who thinks that tiki taka is the aim is deluded.

To be honest I fully agree with both your observations!

I too liked the more controlled possession football mantra, even if it was slow at times during the Mancini era, and yes the intended style is meant to be faster now, but the players are not capable of fully implementing the style Pelligrini wants, so we appear to be falling between two stools at the moment.

We should just play whatever formation and tactics which suits the players we have and brings out the best in them, to me that is the Mancini style of tactics, not this shitty system we have now, which makes our defenders look like schoolboys and midfield non-existent at times.

Slow paced build up, or fast paced attack, it really makes no difference if the centre midfield isn't protecting the centre cirle and defense and linking the play to the forward line, this happened last year and we were on fire at time, doesn't matter what system we play if the midfield is not performing.

It's all down to Yaya - running around like a chicken with no head. Someone should tell him to chill; take it easy for a while in games and just slow everything down.
Same with that Nasri - running all over the place, and trying too hard.
