Do you pinch from self service counters?

If I’ve a basket shop at Asda then I’ve no choice but use self-service tills which I’m fine with. I’ve never knowingly stolen in my life.

The most me thing I’ve ever done in my life is apologise to a smack head selling stolen meat in the pub by saying “No thank you. I’m a vegetarian.”
Haha! This phrase is often to be found uttered by that collection of thieving bastards in Westminster whether it's another rambling monologue about misleading the commons, found with their hand in the till, shagging someone other than their wife, or being rumbled by a News of the Woods sheikh!

I bought a loose potato the other week and was unsure what to put it as on the selection screen. It was only 30p or so so I suspect it was wrong. Ditto a bakery item another time.

Once nicked a case of Estrella from Lidl. Put it under the trolley on the rack and completely forgot it was there, checkout didn't see it. Got to the car and saw it. Returned and paid for it with a smile of complete and utter smugness.
Once nicked a Razzle off the top shelf of the paper shop I worked...customer grassed me up.

The sainsburys in fallowfield has now got systems where you have to show your receipt to open the doors to get out. I refuse to do it and just say i didn't pick my receipt up. Usually means i can't get out without an argument, but fuck them. If they're not going to check my goods when i pay for them they can trust me to not steal anything. (and no, never nicked anything from self service counters).

I use self service card only in my local tesco express, I'm in an out whilst loads are stood in a queue waiting for a member of staff to jump on a till.

I thought I had bought 6 bottles of San Miguel from lidl last month. I was checking my out goings on my bank app for November as I do each new month and there was no lidl purchase on there. I only go in there for bread, milk and beer.
Looks like it never went through properley but I was totally unaware. I won't be going back in a month later to admit my mistake.
I blame them if they put someone on a till it would not have happened. The lidl near me must be the worst in the UK for putting staff on tills. Thus the reason I don't go in there often.

A loose potato would be ok, but if yer tried to exit with a cucumber or a single carrot they'd want to know "Whatya gonna do with that carrot, Mister!"
