If we mess this up I’ll run down Market Street wearing nothing but a pair of rag slippers.

No I don’t and I never have. I said back at the start of Feb - to general amusement - that the rags would win 11 of their last 12 games (I wasn’t counting on them beating us) and they’ve now got the toughies, namely us, Liverpool and Chelsea, out of the way with maximum points. They’ll win their last 6 for sure and that would leave us needing two wins. I don’t see that happening at Spurs, which then piles the pressure on us. Our last 5 games are all against teams fighting for their lives and although there should be no excuse for not beating two of them, anything can happen. There is a residual flakiness to this team that drives me mad. Profligate to the point of ridiculous at one end, yet concede virtually every time the opposition has a shot at the other. 5 shots those cnuts had today and scored 3 goals. We had 20, scored 2 and missed 4 sitters. Pep has to buy a striker in the summer, because 16 odd goals or not, Graeme Souness called it correctly; Raheem doesn’t kick the ball cleanly, to the point that there’s nowhere he can’t miss from, and if Sergio’s not playing it can be a struggle
We will still get the title - Pep has better chance of scoring 4 with rested players....because it was the last kick of the season that we won it from the rags grasp.
We could have beaten the rags to the title directly today and will likely never have that opportunity again because of a stupid hope of scoring 4 goals without reply against Liverpool.
