I think we can get 6 from Stoke and Everton.

If the rags draw tomorrow it is defiantly on. I cant see them beating Liverpool. Lets say they get 4 points and we get 6 ahead of the Derby - what would that mean?

Except Liverpool could be 16 points behind with 18 points left to play for if we draw the derby they beat United and win their other games. Ideally we want united to slip up tomorrow and beat Liverpool or any result tomorrow and draw with Liverpool next week.

assuming we win our next 2 if the rags were to draw at palace then draw against lpool we could be 22 ahead of them both before they play swansea and watford at home

Stoke have been dreadful for months and Everton were shit yesterday and the fans are turning against fat sam yesterday. Also Williams will be suspended because of his Red.
Stoke are in a dog fight but will view the other games after our game hopefully and Everton are mid table and noting to play for.
Should be getting 6 from 6 and then finish it off against them.

So by a twist of fate, we need United to beat them next week to make this happen... and we'd need the scousers to drop points in another game too as they have an extra game between now and then

Yes this for me as well. Not fussed about the guard of honour. Just need a draw against them will do me but then we absolutely spank them to win it.

Utd have to drop 3 points and Liverpool 2. If Utd drop 2 points against Palace and 2 against Liverpool and we win at Stoke and Everton then it's a Guard of Honour before the derby.
Whatever, the title in the bag - it's just a matter of when the it happens.
The biggest prize for me would be 100 points.

Hmm. The only fly in the ointment might be the nature of our 1/4 final champions league tie which might be 3 days either side of the derby. If the price to be paid was delaying winning the league till after the derby, if it meant progress to the semi finals of the CL, it's a price I'd be prepared to pay tbh.

It tends to take place on the next game after it has been won during the same season. Not the first game of the next season.
We have not received a guard of honour on our 2 premier league wins as they have both been won on the last day.
