Do you remember the first City game you ever attended.

Spurs away in Division 1 January 1972,
Drew 1-1 with Wyn Davies scoring for City. I was 9 years old and got to see my heroes, as we lived in Cheshunt Herts.

Mick Channon Debut In 1977 season opener - Nil - Nil !!!

Best thing about the game was getting a pink fixture list card that I could fill in religiously every game for the season !

I was hooked

City v QPR 16th October 1976. The game finished nil nil after both teams missed a penalty. My dad managed to get hold of a couple of spare season tickets from a man I remember us stopping to pick up from Mottram on our way from Hollingworth. We were in the North Stand. I was only 6 years of age but can remember the lovely smell of pipe tobacco. I also can recall an advertisement for Stardrops above the Platt Lane stand opposite.

1966 too young to remember the team (4 years old) we played against. My dad says I was annoying because I kept on asking silly questions.

City away at Liverpool, April 1974. City lost 4-0.... I don't really remember the game, I just remember being on my old man's shoulders in the Anni Rd end.

God I wish I did. We were living in Pickford Court, by the Moss Side District Centre, and went in the early 1970s, walking there with my grandad and my dad. I would have been four or five and I never forgot, and still cherish, the feeling of walking up to the stadium with hordes of fellow blues, climbing up the steps and gazing onto the pitch; it is probably still my favourite part of going to the game. That feeling of togetherness moves me every single time, still.

Tranmere away in 1998. 0-0. Absolutely abysmal game brightened by meeting Kinkladze after the game and watching 2 Tranmere fans batter the shit out of each other outside the main stand.
