Do you support the RMT?

If wanting fairness, equality of opportunity, decency and honesty means you have a chip on your shoulder then I am guilty and chip is not huge its enormous. I also like to think that the overwhelming majority of the time i have spent on here I have treated people reasonably, of course I have had the odd spat, usually when half cut and have met people I have had said spats with and laughed about them, not thrown punches.

I would welcome some of these "silent majority" people into the debate, if they can message you with support why do they not post to back up your points? Its only a forum, mostly faceless and anonymous, so I encourage them to join in.

There are many reasons why the left do not get elected, posting on BM is not one of them.
I can definitely agree with your last point
Whilst it’s not for me to tell the Labour Party how to run it’s affairs if they ever want to be electable they not only need to look at ideology but also their Image
I recall a Labour Party Conference at GMEX a few years ago and I watched them queue in the hope of seeing somebody I recognise.
I can honestly say I have never seen such a collection of scruffy so and so that looked as though they we’re incapable of running a bath never mind the Country
Likewise that Red Flag Flying song and calling each other comrades is really going to go down well this year at Conference
That Evette Cooper will do more damage to the Party than anyone on the Left
Cutting the crap out here, the majority of EU out came from those wanting to give the Government a bloody nose on immigration
Boris picked up on this take control of our borders.
The vast majority had no idea as to true consequences or really cared.
The more she harps on about the treatment of asylum seekers the more votes she takes them away from ever getting in to Government

I am afraid your argument is spurious. Corporate profits and excessive shareholder dividends also increase inflation, it is not just wage spirals. CEO pay and management pay increases also drive inflation but there is little outcry at those in this countries media. Tax policy based on the discredited Laffer curve is also nonsense. Of course wealth can be moved, what cant be moved is capital assets, so tax them.
He’s a ****.
Don’t validate him with a reply.

Wowsers this is a complete different working world to what I do!!
I work 3 jobs to survive and barely get half of what the train drivers get over my 3 jobs.
£60k is a great salary yet they want more?
OK fair enough.

My main job is in shipping with no union or any body as such providing advice.
Throughout my working life I've worked thousands of hours unpaid in anti social hours.
Never have I dared to ask for more money as I'd be worried I'd lose my job.
This rail industry is another world, I never realised that you had unions and people fighting for workers rights in 2022.
Wow.

Wow.
The strike is about way way more than money.

Nothing stopping you from joining a union who will then give you advice as you need it

Train drivers are not involved in the dispute. I'm getting pissed off at Schapps parroting this and the media not correcting him. His gaslighting on Sky earlier was something to behold.

I'm lucky to part of one of a union in this country with a pair of balls.

As a members led union, and not officers led if we think the GS or any other officials are not acting in our interests we will remove them.

I admire your stance, the industry I work in is not protected or represented by any union and as a rule we get treated appallingly.

If you’ve worked thousands of hours unpaid with antisocial hours you’re a mug.

You should join a union.
