Will we still be waiting to clock up another win at Dipperfield?
Also if they’ve got any sense refined sugars will be banned from being sold to children. Everyone will have a good diet and will be regular exercisers and they will look back at the end of rationing in the 1950s to 2030 as a period of idiots who knew nothing about diet and exercise and were ruining their bodies and lives through their diet and sedentary lifestyles.

It’s why the current older generation are living so long. For a good amount of time they only ate what they needed to. Never too much of anything, hardly any refined sugars, good balance of root veg and protein and they all drank water (there are people around now who never turn the tap on and fill a glass with water to have a drink).I have seen it said that country never ate better than in wartime - rationing cut sugar and fat consumption and upped veg consumption. Of course fags, TB and the Luftwaffe all took their toll instead.

Yep. Grew up in a time when you couldn't eat between meals as you didn't have tons of shite in the cupboard. When it was gone, it was certainly gone. Mum done one shop a week, no nipping out every day to the local superstore. We certainly didn't 'eat out' apart from chippy Friday if the old man had a good week. It’s why the current older generation are living so long. More sugar and more bacon cooked in lard, with dripping butties to fill you up.
One things for sure, the embassy club will live on!
