Do you think we can play Tevez in first 11?

I think Tevez is still our number one striker, in Mancini's eyes.

Dzeko has a brilliant start, but he only played because Tevez wasn't in shape to do so. Once Tevez is fully fit, I think he'll play ahead of Dzeko.

Mancini obviously really, really rates Tevez to put him back in the first team after what happened in the summer.

No. Just no. He's blatantly in the first team because yes, he's good, but we have 4 strikers. 2 play, 2 on bench, so you're missing a trick there. Also, no manager in the world would drop a guy who's scored 6 in 3 (or 7 in 4, whichever way you look at it) and is leading the scoring charts. Hell, even Berbatov kept playing last year when he was scoring for the rags, and Dzeko is twice the player he is.

He won't drop him yet, no way. Dzeko has to play as much as possible in his current form. But his form will inevitably dip.

He's not going to keep a goal scoring record of 2 goals per game all season, is he? When he dips, I think Tevez will come in. Dzeko is undroppable at the moment though.

I stand by the fact that I think Tevez is Mancini's number one choice striker, despite Dzeko's amazing start to the season.

Here's my question to you, though - by your logic above, is it inevitable that Dzeko will be dropped from starting 11 at some point? Why? I completely disagree.

WHEN do you decide to drop a striker? When he is not scoring at least goal per game? That'd be ridiculous. Of course Dzeko will dip in form - but are goals the only indicator of one's form? So if Dzeko plays and does not score against Wigan or Napoli - that's it? I just refuse to see the football squad in that way.

City and every other team needs its strikers to PRODUCE constantly. If Dzeko keeps producing like up until now, I don't think he should/will be dropped.

As far as Roberto's choice striker - there were many 'first choice strikers' at Wolsburg until Dzeko came around - ask Magath what happened then :-)

All that said - I also think that Dzeko, Tevez, and Aguero can be fielded all at once - considering the work rate of later two.
