In Turkey they are saying an agreement is in place for Kolo to join Galatasaray (who mean business, Sneijder has signed, it's said Drogba is now a done deal, and Kolo on the agenda). The fee would be nominal, around £1.5million to £2million as he is out of contract in 5 months. But I think this deal would be dependent on us signing a new central defender because I can't see us allowing Kolo to leave without a new signing to immediately come in as we always seem short on defensive cover. A top club needs 5 central defenders of good quality I think. We have Kompany, Nastasic, Lescott, Kolo, and Micah (with Rekik on the fringes), but two of them are currently injured and one is away.
Perhaps it could go: Mario to Milan -> defender to City with some of that money -> Kolo to Galatasaray.

Edit: scores a very good penalty and that's his 13th goal of the season - not bad at all.

Nope just can't see it myself best wait till summer and remove people from the wage bill and sign a few players

Agreed but I suppose in football you never know.
If we don't do any business this season it will be the first transfer window we haven't.
I just hope we don't waste the next transfer market in the summer like we did last summer.
With less than 4 days left, chances of signing someone looks unlikely.
We certainly don't want another one of those panic-buys on the final day.
Regarding CD, is it time for Rekik to step up and prove that he can slot in easily at defence?
If not, we also have Garcia and Rodwell who can play at CD if it's absolutely necessary...Kompany and Micah will be back in February..
Maybe a loan signing?

Rodwell and Garcia will be happy to play as a CB than sitting on the bench or the stand.
