Does anybody else hate Ashley Young? - Cos I do

It will just end up hurting Young and Utd - he'll have legit shouts turned down because he has a reputation as a diver.

we've been hearing this for the best part of a year now

And still refs fall for it. Not sure why because Suarez seems to not be awarded things just because it's Suarez.

The Mail has catalogued some of his more blatant dives.

A history of diving: How Young has consistently shown he's out to cheat refs

By Rik Sharma

When Ashley Young went down to win Manchester United a penalty against Real Sociedad, nobody was surprised.

He has a history of diving and has been spoken to by David Moyes and his predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson about his bad habit.

Sportsmail has collated some of his most notable attempts to con referees across the land.

What does David Moyes have to say on Ashley Young?

SEPTEMBER 14, 2013: Manchester United 2-0 Crystal Palace

Young was booked for diving by referee Jon Moss, as he went down under a challenge from Kagisho Dikgacoi. Later in the game he won an extremely soft penalty and Dikgacoi was sent off.

David Moyes said: 'I don’t want my players diving. I’ll definitely tell Ashley that’s not what I want to see.'

APRIL 15, 2012: Manchester United 4-0 Aston Villa

Against his former club Aston Villa, Young hit the deck to win a penalty which gave United a two goal lead.

Sir Alex Ferguson conceded that Young went down ‘quite easily’.

APRIL 8, 2012: Manchester United 2-0 QPR

Young went down under barely any pressure from QPR’s Shaun Derry in the area. The defender was sent off and Wayne Rooney slotted home from the spot.

After the game R's chief Phil Beard tweeted: 'Difficult to take after watching numerous replays but Ashley Young could partner Tom Daley at the Olympics.'

OCTOBER 23, 2011: Manchester United 1-6 Manchester City

In United’s 6-1 humbling in their own backyard by neighbours Manchester City, Young went down over a James Milner challenge, seemingly sticking out his leg to hit Milner and ensure there was some contact.

Sadly he won a free kick.

OCTOBER 12, 2010: England 0-0 Montenegro

Young was given a yellow card after tumbling theatrically over a challenge in the box during a goalless draw with Montenegro at Wembley. After the game Young insisted that he was fouled.

He said: 'I felt there was a foul beforehand in the first phase of play that didn't get given and I just couldn't do anything to get out of the way of the player coming in.

'I thought it was a penalty but that's the way things go. We didn't get it and we've just got to get on with it.'

And the bloody rest of them..

It is clearly practiced at Utd as so many of them do it, all go down in unnatural body positions and all of them, even if no contact shout in agony to ensure the ref hears it.

The 'shout' is the thing that pisses me off the most about diving.........and it's not just Young either.

There are certain players at United, Arsenal, and Liverpool who are terrible at this. Van Persie, Rafael, Cleverley, Suarez, Henderson, Arteta, and Wilshere are particularly bad.

Even the majority of rags hate him. There are some who defend him but most of them despise him.

Yep. He's total dog shit and a cheating wanker.
Run up to full back, feint to cross, pass the ball back to Evra. Run up to full back, feint to cross, pass the ball back to Evra. etc etc.

It would be nice if every team that played united played for every foul and and to get penalties of their own. Every team, every Match against them (only them) and let's see if we can relegate them with a taste of their own medicine ;)

Shit **** with a face i could punch repeatedly.
I do like the fact bacon brought him in and i though it was a terrible purchase hence i am better than baconface :-D

You would think he would have some sense of shame but apparently not.

Who does he play for? There's the answer.
