Totally understand this. As the season went on I would joke with mates once we win it all this season that'll be it, footballs done, and whilst it was always said jokingly, it's kind of true.

We've reached the pinnacle, it cannot realistically get better, we can only maintain the level. As soon as the season starts again I've little doubt I'll be right back fully invested and desperate to retain all 3 trophies and add more but right now, I'm still basking in the achievements of last season and nothing footballing related can impact that.

In footballing terms, nothing else really matters, im half expecting a down season as i suspect some of the players may feel like this too and i will accept it because we are treble winners and always will be. I will always have beating the rags at wembley and a mental few days in istanbul for the rest of my days.

I wish my mate Andy Hinch had been with me in Turkey. Helped the daft old bigger enjoy his last years at City but what I would have given for him to have enjoyed Turkey with me. So hope he was looking down.

june 10th really hasn't sunk in as to the enormity of it, maybe it never will

I think that goes for the fans as well whether we think so or not, a sense of calm now prevails over us all (obviously not the flappers on the transfer thread :-) ).

This is the problem for fans, management and players- having the desire to push on and improve. I guess that’s how you’re judged as a ‘big club’ - doing it again and again as though it’s normal. We still haven’t got to that level of arrogance of saying ‘of course we did it, that’s what we do’.
so, everyone, has to go again next season and this time add the league cup…….
