Not since the early 90s. Obviously see some click bait from them online. If I read a paper it tends to be the Times as it has a bit of everything and seems reasonably balanced (or as balanced as you ever get with a paper).

I read City related things on Daily Mail like match reports, player ratings ect if they pop up on a google search.
Martin Samuel is a good football writer so will read his stuff.

I was in Tavistock in Devon and got chatting to the guy at WHSmiths (as you do) and he was telling me everyday they shift of 200 copies of the Mail and the next neatest was about 20 copies of the sun. The rest came in at under 10 copies.

I agree it spreads hate & fear and is incredibly divisive but poeople do lap it up

That's a bit knee jerky reaction there Dennis lad.Trevor's mum and dad read it as do a lot of other folk including myself who access it online for free.All newspapers have agendas and most encourage clik bait to pay the bills.A lot of people who say they don't read it actually do but only on the sly as they don't have the testicles to stand up and be counted in case the boys in da hood turn on them.It's just a paper and like all papers should be treated with a lickle pinch of salt.The crosswords rather good and they have a smashing travel section and the money section is better than the F.T.
