Does Anyone Actually Like Monday Night Football?

Not really a fan of Monday evening kick-offs, but football is football at any time of the week and I just adore the game.
Haven't got Sky so I'll have to make do with the recording of Southampton's triumph at Wembley yesterday.
Plus I've got MotD, MotD2 and the Football League to watch again (but obviously fast-forwarding those bastards against Bolton!).

Man, am I going to have a feast when the World Cup starts.

I bet the majority of people who complain about the daft kick off times also subscribe to $ky or E$PN and are therefore contributing to their own misery..... a bit like turkeys voting for Christmas me thinks!!

I think it completely sucks. Watching everyone else play then after the weekends finished there's a match that I can't get to because its anight game and I can't watch cos its not on sky...

Just another excuse to make Monday and kill 3pm Saturday kick offs...

Monday night football is the reason I am not at the match tonight!

There was an interesting thread discussing making all City League games a Saturday by opting out ok Sky TV money and televising our own games

The all the games on Saturday is not going to happen with the Europa League games on Thursday and don't forget other teams might do the same thing and want to play their games on whacky nights.

I really enjoy Monday night football, it's the dicking about with the fixtures on Saturdays and Sundays that pisses me off

I dont like any night games. They are a pain in the arse for me to attend and i usually dont bother unless its a big game.

I just feel left out when all the other teams are playing and we are not. Notice the Sky4 very rarely appear on a Monday night these days, wonder if that will change when we barge our way into their cozy set-up?

I do seem to remember that we were on the first ever Monday night televised game vs Arsenal.

Nope was against QPR

city played the 1st televised live game other than an international or cup final.it was on a friday night v chelsea at maine rd.we lost 2 nil but it lead to the way football is filmed live nowadays.thats an historical fact.
