Does anyone else confine themselves to the city bubble?

Never used to but now I avoid as much media stuff related to the game as I can after we lose, the cliché warriors (money can't buy..., mercenaries, £831 trillion spent, etc.) come out in droves in comment areas (on newspaper websites) whenever we drop a point.

I haven't watched a non City match for about three years now,I have no idea at all about the wider football world (other than what I pick up from here)and I know hardly any of the opposition players, they are all just nameless scum who are there to be beaten as far as I'm concerned!
I can't claim to be that good, but I don't watch many non City games in the PL these days either, mostly lower league, cup games, or european. I watched tonight's game though, and really enjoyed it (Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle since you won't know).

Depends, this one i have stayed away from ssn, papers etc due to the baconlovers dying to rub it in our faces.

I did risk bbc sports main page before, that is safe to browse.

Exactly the same here, just forget about all the press and arse-licking rag media and see what our own fans have to say! Until it passes and the next game comes around!

Count me in, can't bear to watch it. Try and block it out for a couple of days, even the wife has cottoned on and stopped the inane comments to try and cheer me up, like " well at least they tried, or you're still near the top"

Those sort of comments wind me up even more

Sky Sports News and newspapers (and talkSPORT) are for dullards anyway, so I never subject myself to shit in the gutter at any time.

But I Sky+ every singke game i can and watch back the full 90mimutes win/lose/draw, and if there is no 90minutes on tele I watch the highlights. I feel I form better opinions of our team and players and manager and fans from watching all the replays of us in defeat than I do when we win.
