Does anyone else feel like this?

YES. did you? And someone else on here is more worried about filling the seats on his bus!
I am not worried about filling a bus I am quiering why I couldn't fill a bus this season, but could last season for the same match.
Can you explain to me why supporters who qualified for the Liverpool match last season don't qualify this season through the loyalty points .

Maybe other fans have gone platinum; been to European games; & therefore increased their points. All I know from experience is that our away fans are true, loud singing fans - they are not “tourists”

(& as the previous poster says (which I’ve just seen) maybe our allocation was reduced by the opposing clubs

The people I am referring to are all on platinum and attend all home matches and cannot be overtaken by fans.
You do not get points for attending away matches anymore.
Totally agree with your last sentence if it is for one of the less attractive matches .
Today was not one of them.

We argued amongst ourselves for years as the number of tickets available to lifelong Bkues has diminished.

i actually think this is a social problem - I have a young daughter who wants to go to many a gig - constant queues to try and get tickets (we’ve never managed to get a single one)

Yet we can go on the resale websites and buy one for £100’s and £1000’s over face value

is this a club problem or the legalised touting through the after market ticket agents. This is something we need a football regulator for to create laws on resale of tickets above face value

Just leaving anfield now feel rather deflated not with the football but with what I am now witnessing and have been for a while people I know who have followed city for years couldn’t get a ticket today yet I witnessed empty seats
Probably because these football sites couldn’t sell them on at inflated prices, tourists taking selfies all game which will only get worse and police treating us as scum. 1973 was my first game and I think this season will be my last can’t stomach it anymore it’s becoming a piss take now, I will always love the club but it’s becoming less attractive every week anybody who knows me knows I travel extensively all over Europe and England but I think my time’s coming soon to watch on the Firestick with a brew and sandwiches anyone else feel the same
Bit depressing reading this mate.
I was there today and have been going even longer than you have.
I Don't like the way tickets for away games are now distributed, but it happens at most top clubs and at the moment we're at the very top.
This game was always going to be a tourist attraction, weren't too many at the Luton cup game last week, or at least I didn't see many.
These times won't last forever.
When the chelsea fan and new part owner of man u gets his wish and we're knocked off our perch, a lot of 'tourist' fans will disappear.
For me, the good parts of following City far outweigh the bad parts.
Personally, if health aIlows me I couldn't just stop going, and think you might find it tough aswell.
See you next season.

There are already laws in place regarding reselling football tickets. It is against the law to sell them on at any price, even below face value , unless you have the authority of the issuing club.

Make of that what you will.

Thanks - I never knew that

Not sure how city (or any club) would enforce their authority unless you got into the hassle of showing ID with tickets like we used to in CL away days
