Does anyone else think....

What a bizarre thread.

Thank God the OP isn't our manager. Unless Bobby Manc is posting incognito ...

We should have gone for more!?

Don't get me wrong I was loving today's performance, it seemed to good to be true at times.... but after our 4th I was a little frustrated. It was around 70 mins, spuds had 10 men. They were playing shit, we were awesome. There was no way of them coming back the way we were playing. They were up for the taking and their heads were down and they weren't bothered anymore(as shown through the defending of the 5th city goal).

With the 10 men on a plate we stopped attacking and scoring, we instead gave the ball to the defenders to practice passing. We could have got 7 or 8. We should have.
People will say it doesn't matter because we won anyway but it does. 2 or 3 goal could be the difference between 2nd and 1st. That's why man u didn't show any mercy and tore arsenal apart. They know how important it is and when they saw arsenal on their knees they took the opportunity and overshadowed our win to get 1st.

For those that cba reading the thread and just choose to highlight bad bits, overall it says:
We were fantastic but I'm just saying we could've got more goals if we wanted to, and nothing but good would have come out of it.

I know its early days but it all counts.
jesus fucked up christ , there are some fucking Nimrods in this world.

As if this thread wasn't bizarre enough.....

Nimrod (Hebrew: נִמְרוֹד, Modern Nimrod Tiberian Nimrōḏ Aramaic: ܢܡܪܘܕ‎ Arabic: نمرود‎) is, according to the Book of Genesis and Books of Chronicles, the son of Cush and great-grandson of Noah and the king of Shinar. He is depicted in the Tanakh as a man of power in the earth, and a mighty hunter. Extra-Biblical traditions associating him with the Tower of Babel led to his reputation as a king who was rebellious against YHWH.

I can only deduce that YHWH is RM, and BM is the Tower of Babel, in which case, that freak show at the Swamp proves he does indeed work in mysterious ways. The question would not have arisen without that result.

Would you be saying that if the rags only won 1-0?

No I dont think you would. 5-1 at WHL is fucking quality and the football we played was quality aswell.

Stop freaking out. Manchester United played against a third-rate Arsenal team with no spine, passion, confidence, or pride.

City has a deeper squad than United.

City have superior players in all positions than United.

Calm the fuck down. If United wins 5-1 against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, then I'd be worried. But they didn't, did they?

When United plays against REAL opponents in Europe, you will see how much they will suffer. If they face the likes of Barcelona or Real, they will be utterly humiliated. I don't even see how they can cope with you guys.

Midfield wins football games these days, and United's midfield = SHIT. Nasri, Yaya, and Silva will run rings around those cunts.

Another thing - do you know one of the positives about possession football? Or more specifically, Barcelona's philosophy - the more possession you have, the more you allow your own players to REST while owning the ball. It really is that simple. You have a long ass season left to go. Don't drown your own players in their sweat at the beginning of the season.

I like you. Post more often.
kinda agree with OP but not enough to particularly be bothered.
one point though, why did we finish 3rd last season and not second? Goal difference......

it's over now get over it. we won 5-1 AT SPURS be happy. end of.

There's no harm in going for more, but there's no point in complaining that we didn't. Given we barely got a point from WHL last season, I'm thankful we scored at all... or have you jumped on the bandwagon so recently that you forgot about the same fixture last year?

The Tottenham team that you beat 5-1 would have beaten the Arsenal side that lost 2-8 to United 3-2 or 4-2. No questions in my mind about it.

Also, to reiterate - United's midfield is shit. Why did they look so good against a weakened Arsenal? Because they basically played with four fuckin strikers who can all run forever and run really fuckin fast all day. That's why.

They didn't even need a midfield, Arsenal was so atrocious.

was thinking the same thing but when you look at it we were playing spurs, proper spurs, not arsenal reserves.
had we gone all out attack they could easily of added to their offside goal.
i'll take 5-1 at WHL all day long.
