How to connect to xbox live by linking an xbox and a pc together?
pc is in the same room as xbox, but the router isnt

anyway can i link them up with the ethernet lead?...(have been trying for a while now by trying to share the internet connection with the xbox, but the 'dns test' fails every time)

or do i have to fork out £45 for the wireless adapter??

any idea how helpful they are?
past experiences with call centres have been a bit shit to say the least!

aye , ive rang them a couple of time mate they wasvery helpful both times as well , mind i rang the australian phone number , not sure what it'll be like back home mate .

I use an ethernet cable. One end in the router and the other in the xbox. Turned it on and followed the instructions on the xbox. Works fine

Mines a 10m cable which runs from the front bedroom under the carpet and into the back bedroom. Think the Ethernet cable cost about £7. Which is much cheaper than buying the wireless thing
