Does anyone remember a Mancini interview where.UPDATED link

Apologies if already mentioned before but I thought it was very odd at the time and it stuck with me.

If my memory serves me right it was before an away European game last season and featured Dzeko and Mancini. Towards the end of the press conference a woman shouted out "what about Van Persie?" to Dzeko. Dzeko looked puzzled and said "Van Persie plays for Arsenal" there follows complete silence and Dzeko looks at Mancini as if for help. Mancini smiles and shrugs his shoulders. Then there is a bit of laughter and they move onto the next question.

It was a surreal atmosphere and I thought at the time that the woman had hit on something. 7 months or so later we are strongly linked with him.

Anyone remember?

Thanks....definitely something going on there if you look at Mancini at 1.25 mins and this was 10 months ago. Weird at the time makes sense now. I like the comment on the YouTube link too....not so ridiculous now.

as i have previously stated in the rvp thread , this WAS a done deal in january but the only stumbling block....and is still as of last week was his agent wanting a massive amount and city are unwilling to pay it. this brings even more credibility to my story.
a bit of googling show his agent is kees vos but i dont know which other players he has on his books...have we dealt with him before?

Yes, but how is it in any way strange for a reporter to ask Mancini a question about a player who was being linked to us at the time by numerous sources? And Mancini shrugs it off since he's not interested in talking about rumors during the lead-up to a UCL match.

Dzeko, Balotelli, Tevez and Aguero.

You don't want Dzeko to leave so that means you would be happy with either Balotelli, Tevez or Aguero to leave. All 3 of whom are better than Dzeko.

I don't like him either, but ability wise we would be hard pressed to replace him.
