I've tried to teach my broad how to make a chip buttie and a cheese and onion pie, to no avail. Thank God for Mums eh.

Also, in Thailand, haven't they just changed the rules so you have to have a degree to teach English now?

You need a degree in Korea and I would imagine in Japan too. But a degree, means a degree in anything!

I don't know about Japan, but in Korea the pay is quite good considering the low cost of living. You generally get paid from 15-25k your apartment is free, tax is 3% for teachers, bills are cheap - get teacher's holidays, you do have to go to work sometimes, other than that it feels like cheating.
