having weathered the first 25, we got back into it and were much the better team than stoke. giving the goal away was criminal, and really knocked us back, but we were the only team in it until the final seconds. and they were wrong about the disallowed goal, too, it was clearly a foul. we weren't great but Radio 5 were only interested in making it seem like a disaster. they were far too negative about viera too, they said he did NOTHING positive for the team at all, truth is, he had some bad moments but for most of the second half he was the only city player who was passing the ball around and probing the stoke defence.

Stoke player kept his arms down, jumped straight upwards, Shay ran into him. If it had been the other way you would be fucking fuming. They were robbed tonight and you know it. We were a disgrace.

look at it again and you will see shawcross arm across givens shoulder preventing him getting of the floor it was a foul

Agree that it wasn't a foul - remember Campbell's x2 international non-goals? They get given, end of.

It's also good to see a City fan admit it was a refereeing mistake, even though I am happy it went our way.

You'll see Shawcross jump, and then Given jump into him. Shawcross jumps legally and then Given jumps into him. Given fouls if anyone.
