Does Pep watch other games in person?

Every so often when watching a game on TV, the camera will show a manager of another team sat in the stands watching, usually when the manager's team is playing one of the teams playing soon.
I've never seen Pep doing it in the 10 years he has been here.
Does he do it and I've just not seen them games or does he just trust the scouts to do it for him?

Think that’s a thing of the past, barring international managers.

The scouting and analytic networks clubs have along with recorded access to every game via scouting camera means managers can do it from home/whilst travelling etc.

People are paid to analyse the last 9 games of the opposition for analysis, and it is a full time job.

Not in person, so it can be paused, replayed etc - it is more effective than in person.

I've seen Pep watching the opposition once or twice but that was year's ago. A complete waste of his time and energy doing that now.

can you imagine our analysis to pep " ive watch last 9 they cant be arsed so you know they be rejuvenated and push all the way" more so when we play at their ground

I wonder if he ties his laces in a single bow or double? I won't rest until this is resolved.

Is this from January 2018 when we played Cardiff in the 4th round?
His matchday instructions to the players included wearing industrial grade shin-pads and body armour.
Bastards spent 90 minutes kicking our mob and once we'd gone two up I was hoping we wouldn't try for a third to avoid injuries.
