Yep and when we heard on SSN that we had signed him seconds before the transfer deadline. I went straight onto youtube and started drooling!

I think that a fair few of the people on here are only knocking Robinho now because we've been linked with Ribery possibly replacing him.Just over 12 months ago practically everyone was delighted with him being at City,he had a decent 1st season for us 14 goals etc etc. He's been unfortunate with injury so far this season so lets give him a chance eh.
Ribery will almost certainly not sign for City he'll go to Madrid,so if you are one of those supporters who believe the press when they link us with the likes of Ribery or whatever other flavour of the month superstar think again.
Besides if we did,by some miracle sign Ribery i bet some of Robinho's detractors would be slagging him off after the 1st away defeat,or for not getting his foot in enough.

some fans are amazingly fickle!!!!
he is without doubt the most talented player at the club in an attacking sense......he can produce moments of magic to unlock games that others can only dream about.
yet unfortunately due to the typical british mentality of:

1. building up a player just to knock him down (led by the media and closely followed by some fans who should have more sense!)

and 2......that all players need to be work horses, tracking back etc....

some of our fans seemed to have turned on him......while he is injured and not even playing!!!!!!.............absolutely ridiculous.....the media hacks are laughing their heads off......they time there ridiculous rumours about him wantimg to leave, aided by the barca president, to have the maximum impact

when will some people learn that people like the barca president will use the media (and the media will thrive on it) to unsettle a player.....esp one like robinho and even more esp when he is at a club like city whom they deam arent big enough to have a player like him.

and some of our fans are falling for it

It is a squad game...........we need players like robinho in our squad...just like we need players like dejong, barry and bellamy (the work horses)

If we sell him to barca then it is without doubt a step backwards and if it happens the media will use it to create the impression that we cannt as a club handle the bigger players.....and in so will make it harder in the future to attract players of his ilk.........

There have been times lately, where i thought there was no reasenoble people left on Bluemoon.

You sir have proven me wrong!

Last season teams doubled up on him and we exposed it well.

Imagine what we will do this season if teams put 2 players on him.

It's frightening really. Bellamy is playing great at the moment, but he isn't fit to lace Robbie's boots and he'll be the first to admit that.

It's simple, Bellamy and Robbie will fight it out for the left wing position and if Robbie is playing it's because he is playing better than Bellamy and vice-versa. It's win-win

I'll be honest, i almost forgot he did, simply because we have played so well recently and we haven't missed him at all, that's not a dig at him but i have had my mind focused on the 11 on the pitch who have been performing brilliantly for the last month.
