Sorrento, drunken fans attacked Manchester City in the street: a wounded

SORRENTO - 22/11/2011 -
Four British fans of Manchester City, hotels in Sorrento waiting to watch the Champions League match against Napoli scheduled tonight at the San Paolo stadium, were attacked after midnight yesterday in the street in the coastal town. One of them reported a beer bottle to the scalp wound judged incurable by doctors in 10 days.

The four did not want to complain. Investigate the incident the police. To what has been 'learned, the British would have been attacked after the noises generated by the fact that they were drunk.

I've never understood these blues that go on european away trips and spend 2 days in an irish bar with a load of other city fans?
tbh, I couldn't think of anything worse than going on an organised trip like spikes or thomas cook.
Its lucky your not forced then
Why not just say i hate City fans and i would never go to a European away match as my head is stuck way to far up my own ass

The only european away since keegans era I've missed was Villareal. I've just always preferred to do my own thing. Can't be arsed being around a fuckin load of balloons kickin' off with each other, which seems to be a lot more prevalent these days.

There's been blue-on-blue violence at each euro away this season.
I'd rather stay away from all that and hunt down some local women

Usually they throw a water bucket on you if you make noise in the streets during the night. Strange....the guy was pissed off royally then

Why do UEFA overlook the Italians year after year?, if it was us English, we'd be banned from Europe.

Because its not football fans causing the trouble,it's the general thugs of the areas.
