Our first one, Jack The Bastard was mental.....but he was 'puppy farmed' as it turned out. Damages them a lot being seperated from their mother so early. Plus inbreeding....

We now have another, seven years old, his name is GOATER......got him from a family in Scotland, his mum and dad both live with them, and are from totally different bloodlines and he is as calm and placid as can be.....except if he sees water or birds.....both parents are working dogs and it's in his blood....

One of the best breeds ever Springers....

we had one when i was a kid. She would run up our back wall which was 6 foot high and be over it in a split second. she would run around like a crazy bastard at 90 miles an hour and all you could do was just wait till she got tired, which was usually after about 30 minutes. that dog was mad.

Yup, Jack The B used to do that in our old house.....leapt a six foot fence at will and barely touched the top of the fecker....as for energy....I take Goater out for a two hour walk at Watergrove, constantly running, which includes a LOT of swimming too, and once home and showered, he is ready to play ball.....never stops, lol.
