Dog Villain

In German a Devil Dog is known as a Teufulhund.
And that is what the Germans called The US Marines who fought at Bealeau Wood in France .
It was a complimentary remark in admiration of their tenacity and ferocity.
Hence why Gunnery Sergeant Hartman calls his marine recruits on Parris Island, Devil Dogs.( Full Metal Jacket).

The Star. A cartoon retelling of the nativity from a donkey's perspective with a couple of (initially) evil dogs as the enemy.

Yes I think you are correct there Jim.
Mind you, whether that dog was female or male,it had big, sharp, nasty looking teeth when it tried to attack Robert Neville.
Sad when he felt he had no choice other than to spare her the existence that awaited her after she'd been infected.

:-(

Watching hound of the Baskervilles last night with the better half, we tried to list all the films where a dog is the villain, struggling to name many.
Which version if you dont mind me asking? Baskervilles is my favourite novel, and I love most TV/Film adaptations.

Did I mention Cujo. Every other dog is a pussy cat compared to Cujo. :)

All Dogs Go to Heaven - Though they refer to the antagonist as a rat and not a dog, although I think that just may be poetic, as he is twice the size of his doberman muscle.
