The thing is, Fox news plays a big part in this. They are his mouthpiece and just big him up on everything, His rancid racist fan base believe every last word that comes out of that network. And it's all good if your a trump fan

Didn't Fox News stop being listed as a news company, but instead are 'entertainment'? Or have I got that wrong?

Doubt it, he already had a go at McCain for being captured and had a go at the family of that muslim soldier who died, all while being a draft dodger. If these people had any integrity they'd already know what he really thought of the military. Pretty sure this soldier was black as well, so the rednecks will gladly decide his wife is lying

He was indeed black.

The other item in the news about his treatment of soldiers KIA was his offer by phone of $25,000 of his own money to the family of one soldier (a white one) several months ago. They never saw a cent until it was reported this week and coincidentally the cheque went in the post the same day as the Washington Post report was published, with an excuse that it takes a lot of time to process these things!

It's like he said in the campaign, he could literally walk out on the street and start shooting people and he wouldn't lose a vote. The military families who supported him will forgive him (or more likely don't even accept that he said it). The new narrative from Fox News is that the congresswoman who heard him say it has a bad voting record when it comes to vets. So in their world it's okay that he said it because the person who heard it is bad.

It's the same playbook they used when W was in power. He did something horrible (I forget what it is now) and they attacked the reporter who broke the story for being a homosexual.

There are more of them that believe that Hillary Clinton was running a child sex ring out of a pizza parlor than there are that believe in climate change.
