The are two possible explanations for the latest anti-Mueller tweets.
Either he is doing his best to discredit the enquiry to give himself a reason to try and get Mueller fired, or more likely he is doing his best to discredit the investigation so that he can dismiss the findings as partisan muck raking and hope to get enough GOP congressmen to back him such that they won't act on the findings. The first option would probably lead to his impeachment whereas the second strategy stands a chance of success depending on how bent the GOP congressmen are. Whilst logically the second option makes more sense, that would imply that Trump has the intellect to work that out.
Why not? He a very successful businessman, and I'm guessing he just sacks people who he doesn't like, or who piss him off. I bet that May woman wishes she could just sack people who annoy her - I'm sure Boris would be signing on by now.Genuine question, what is there to stop Trump from firing Mueller at this stage?
