Whilst I may agree with several points you've made, I can't quite see how western europe has done anything to step up it's military profile. With out a doubt they have well trained exceptional forces, I just don't see them acting without US leadershipJust my own personal observations on various things.
Asia have got on with TPP without the US. Mexico / EU trade deal. Syria effectively handed over to Russia and Iran. Russia doing what it wants in Ukraine. China brokering the Korea talks (in my opinion). Other countries taking a lead on climate change. Western Europe looking like it will be becoming less dependent on US for defence.
That’s not to say the US are no longer a force to be reckoned with but other countries seem to be making their own way a bit more which in many cases isn’t a bad thing.
The smarter world leaders have now worked out how to deal with him. Flatter him and he goes along with what they want often backtracking on previous positions.
Meanwhile his trade war may help one or two coal and steel plants in the short term but that will be more than offset by more expensive raw materials for manufacturing industry and it will damage the livelihood of his core supporters who export crops.
Anyway, as I say, it’s just my opinion.

Looks like people are advising him to visit Scotland rather than London to avoid 'major protests, crime and disorder' and 'potential embarrassment'.
Always knew he’d be a good president. He just lets himself down when he opens his mouth, even some of his most loyal supporters would cringe at the stuff he comes out with. But he’s a step in the right direction, fuck the bullshit politicians that have made no difference over the years.
