Donald Trump

Democracy is the most sacred and the most delicate of all the institutions we have but also the most liberating. It requires constant protection from me, you, and everybody else.
From people like Trump who seem to be doing their best to subvert it.

And I don't see any evidence that he's subverting the democracy.

He's being a dick at times, but he's not doing anything that is rupturing the legal or political systems of the US. It's not like he's abolished Congress.
How about seeking personal loyalty from his closest aides ahead of expecting them to uphold the constitution?

How about attempting to install a judge to the supreme court on the basis that he previously said that a sitting President shouldn't be indicted and who has shown himself to be a liar under oath?

How about colluding with a foreign power to affect the election result (if proven)?

How about his attempts to use the legal system as a tool against his political enemies?

I'm sure there's plenty more I could add.

All leaders seek loyalty and quid pro quo from their underlings. It's what allows them to be leaders in the first place. And there's no evidence he's done so at the expense of the Constitution.

There's no evidence that either of those things are true. BK is a highly respected legal scholar and has been for 20 years.

Then we'll talk once that is proven. Until then he hasn't done anything wrong. If we are going to go down the list of things that he hasn't done wrong but MIGHT have done possibly, maybe, then I fear we could be in for some long posts.

He has regularly complained that Jeff Sessions hasn't protected him. James Comey has said under oath that his request for loyalty was in conflict with the law. There are numerous tweets and comments from him about this.

We've all seen Kavanaugh's performance in front of the Senate panel. There's plenty of evidence that he's been lying about some aspects of his behaviour from several witnesses. Obviously no proof yet but he hasn't been up in court.

Yep, no proof, but no shortage of incriminating evidence.

There's no evidence that he has done this.
There have been numerous occasions when he's suggested that the FBI investigate his political enemies. The fact that it's gone nowhere doesn't mean he hasn't tried. Search his twitter feed and you'll find plenty of examples. You might be surprised.

So he's not entitled to free speech? That's your point?

This has nothing to do with his entitlement of free which he is like any other US citizen. Here's what some of his key republican supporters are saying

“I wish he hadn’t of done it and I just say it’s kind of appalling,” Senator Jeff Flake, a Republican from Arizona, said in an interview with NBC on Wednesday.

“There is no time and no place for remarks like that, but to discuss something this sensitive at a political rally is just not right.”

And Republican swing vote Susan Collins of Maine also rebuked Trump, telling reporters on Capitol Hill: “The president’s comments were just plain wrong.”

He might just have well and truly blown it for his bit being an absolute vile nasty dick.

Harold Shipman was a highly respected doctor. What's your point?

Also, aside from the sexual assault allegations, there is also the issue of the vast amount of Kavenaugh documents that the GOP still refuse to release. If there is nothing shady or partisan about his past, why withhold documents?

If there was nothing to see here, then Republicans would let us see everything. Considering how hard they are working to avoid any form of investigation and transparency, it appears obvious to even the most casual observer that there is clearly much to hide...much like the man who nominated him!!!
