Cohen is already being locked up for lying to Congress. If he was caught lying again, his sentence would increase. Why would he take the risk when it's clear that there is so much evidence around that any more lies would be highly likely to be exposed.

Lying to the FBI did Flynn and Papadopolus no good thats for sure. Cohen even referred to the fact he HOPED his help reduces his sentence but doing that is way down the line which is why he is helping with other investigations too. Last nights was not the be all and end all for him. Trump allies can try and discredit him but when Trumpy had his back turned this got aired across America - and no doubt there will be more.
