Yup.

Trump was stopped in his tracks by the whisleblower complaint becoming public. The aid was released soon after, and we'll never know if Ukraine would have done as requested.

It's irrelevant though, as the moment the request was made of Ukraine to publicly announce an investigation into the Biden's in return for the release of the military funds the crime was committed.

It is pretty disgusting really that despite all the evidence that there are certain Republicans that appear to have chosen this particular hill to die on.

At the end of the day, it's all about the court of public opinion. Looking back, only 19% of the population were for the impeachment of Nixon before the public hearings.
