Indeed.

Many haven’t realised this is actually Mitch “My Face Looks Like a Rotting Melon” McConnell’s greatest political achievement. More than acquitting Trump, blocking all Democratic led legislation, passing the incredibly destructive wealth redistribution reform, and so on.

The stacking of federal courts at every level with incompetent, ultra-conservative, and — in many cases — sycophantic judges is what will enable ever more problematic (and unconstitutional) actions from the Trump admin and Republicans even when/if Trump leaves office, not to mention stifling progressive legislation and policy put forward by the Democrats even if they retake control of Congress and the White House.

They’ll be able to do it for years to come.

Well, apart from having a brain and being aware of the Republican’s general ideological/political judicial reformation strategy, even beyond the arguably unconstitutional actions of McConnell to block Obama Supreme Court nominations and instead force through two nominees under Trump that are most definitely ultraconservative and sycophantic, with one being entirely incompetent for the role (actions McConnell and other Republicans regularly brag about)...
