Trump can't sack Fauci, can he? To say Fauci knows where the bodies lie might be bad taste but he knows why so many of them died. If Trump sacks him, Biden just says he will reappoint him if he wins, and/or Fauci endorses Biden (with his own Lincoln Project ad).

Faucci is the incumbent Director of the National institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as Head of the Government COVID Task Force. If Trump wants to sack him from the Coronavirus Task Force, he can, but it would be a dick move, and would not sit well with most Republicans.
