Attorney General William Barr appoints John Durham as special counsel in Russia probe investigation
On Tuesday, Barr told The Associated Press that he appointed veteran prosecutor John Durham as a special counsel on October 19 to continue investigating the origins of the probe into Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.
In an Oct. 19 order, obtained by The Associated Press, Barr says Durham is authorized “to investigate whether any federal official, employee or any person or entity violated the law in connection with the intelligence, counter-intelligence or law enforcement activities” directed at the 2016 presidential campaigns, anyone associated with the campaigns or the Trump administration.

I was thinking about this earlier and as much as I have little to no respect for Trump, the more this goes on I’m angered less by him and more by those around him. He’s that much of a narcissist that I wouldn’t be surprised if he genuinely believes some of the shit that he says. I find it far worse of those knowingly going along with it, fully aware of the long term damage it will cause past Trump and Biden too.
These are career politicians who have decided to throw out everything they’re supposed to believe in in order to support the whims of just one man. They’re equally deserving of no respect for me.
