I'm no fan of Trump. But they all do it. Obama was the record holder to date - 212 pardons over his term, and apparently managed 330 commutations of sentence on his last day in office. Maybe Trump will do more, and it is his right under the wonderful US constitution, not even an amendment.
He can't fix all his own issues though - New York are after him for one and that is State rather than Federal stuff.
